COMP Journal Club
The COMP Journal Club meets bi-monthly to discuss current, relevant research articles on issues concerning child overweight. You will find links to articles discussed at each meeting on this website.
The COMP Journal Club's learning objectives are:
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Identify new evidence-based research strategies for treating overweight children
- Counsel patients and their guardians about intervention methods and their expected impacts
- Identify factors contributing to child overweight and the mechanics of the contributions of these factors to co-occurring conditions.
Unless otherwise stated, COMP Journal Club events take place from 7:45-9:00am at 1731 N. Marcey, 4th Floor, Conference Room A. COMP Journal Clubs now provide CMEs for physicians at CMH.
