Main Services:

Process samples starting from total RNA or cRNA.

FromTotal RNA
-Synthesize double stranded cDNA from total RNA
-Perfrom in vitro transcription reactions, with the double stranded cDNA as template, using a nuclotide analog/ ribonucleotide mix to amplify and label the cRNA respectively.

-Fragmentation and hybridization of labeled cRNA on test chips. If samples pass QC, hybridization onto full length arrays
-Washing and staining on fluidics 450 station
-Scanning on the GC 3000 high resolution scanner
-Basic analysis using MAS 5.1 to analize the image and generate an output data file and Spotfire to make scatterplots and do hierarchical clustering. (higher level analysis is available on a consulting or collaborative basis)

From cRNA
–Hybridization of labeled cRNA on test chips. If samples pass QC, hybridization onto full length arrays
–Washing and staining on fluidics 450 station
–Scanning on the GC 3000 high resolution scanner
–Basic analysis using MAS 5.1 to analize the image and generate an output data file and Spotfire to make scatterplots and do hierarchical clustering. (higher level analysis is available on a consulting or collaborative basis)

To submit samples for processing, please follow the following instructions:

  1. Make sure the sample concentration is sufficient prior to submission (1ug/ul for Total RNA and 20ug total for cRNA).
  2. Fill out a sample request form (see link on this website)
  3. Submit all RNA on dry ice.
