The Department of Pediatrics consists of seventeen individual divisions and six programs, spanning the breadth of subspecialties in Pediatric Medicine. The goals of the department are to provide thorough, broad-based education to our residents; cutting-edge, individualized care to our patients; and to carry out high-level basic and clinical research.

The department is strongly invested in continuing both basic and clinical research efforts to improve the health of children. You can view the broad range of clinical research being conducted in our divisions, see more of the work being conducted in our labs, or read more about the work being conducted at Children's Memorial Research Center. These multidisciplinary teams of physicians, scientists, technicians, nurses and trainees are committed to making discoveries that will improve the lives of children and their families.

The following links will provide you with information about the research efforts in each division, including division-wide research interests, grant support, honors and awards, publications and trainees supported by the divisions.
