Creating Punch Out Requisitions
The Punch Out function allows users access to browse and order items directly from a participating supplier’s web-based catalog. This quick reference card provides step-by-step instructions on creating general requisitions.
Using the Special Instructions/Shipping Instructions Feature
Add comment(s) (vendor quote, specifications, shipping information) to a requisition.
Special Instructions will carry over entered comment(s) to the purchasing agent and vendor. This information will be posted on the purchase order documentation.
Shipping Instructions will carry over entered comment(s) to the receiving/shipping dock documentation.
These features are available once you are ready to submit a requisition. When you are ready to submit a requisition, click the Checkout tab. Upon selecting the Checkout tab, you can access these features. Under the Action column in Checkout you have multiple action icons. Select the Item Detail icon to access the Special Instructions/Shipping Instructions. Each requisition line has its individual Item Detail icon thus you can enter multiple comments for each requisition line or you can select the Apply to all items option thus the entered comments will be applied to all requisition lines.
Upon completion of entering data in the Special Instructions/Shipping Instructions fields you must select the Save option. This option will save all entered data and user will be taken back to the Checkout tab.
See GHX PowerPoint slides for views of the application.
